    NEST 2023 Application Form: Candidates are advised to confirm their NEST 2023 Eligibility before applying. NEST 2023 is going to be conducted on June 24, 2023 in two sessions. Candidates should fill out the application form before the last date of submission as no candidates will be allowed to submit the application form after the last date. There is no offline mode to apply for NEST 2023 entrance exam.

    • The application fee for Male (General/OBC) is INR 1200 and for SC/ST/Female/PwD candidates is INR600.

    NEST 2023 Application Form needs to be retrieved online from the official site of NEST. It can only be filled via online mode.

    Details students fill in the application form is necessary because it will be filled in the admit card, scorecard, and other important documents related to NEST 2023 by the authorities. If any given detail is found incorrect or not genuine, NEST can take appropriate actions against the student.

    NEST Application Form Steps

    Steps to fill NEST 2023 application form is listed below:

    Step 1: Registration

    • Visit the official website, www.nestexam.in
    • Register yourself by entering your basic details.
    • Click on the link you receive on your registered email address for confirmation.
    • Login with the registered email id & password.

    Step 2: Application Form Filling

    • After logging in with the registered e-mail address and password, NEST application form 2023 will then be displayed on the monitor.
    • Fill the form with valid details which includes personal details (name, gender, date of birth, religion, etc.) and educational details (address, email ID and mobile number).
    • Save and submit the form.
    • Note down the application ID.
    • Candidates will have to choose a security question-answer as per their wish and preferred examination centers.
    • Download and take a print of the application form.

    Step 3: Uploading Images and Documents

    • Upload your scanned passport size photograph & signature as per the mentioned format.
    • The resolution and size of the scanned copy of the required documents to be uploaded should be as per NEST guidelines. The system will not accept the document if the resolution and size are not as prescribed.

    Step 4: Payment of Application Fees

    • Submit your application fee via an online payment gateway (Debit card/Credit card/Net Banking). This is to be noted that the fees paid are not refundable.
    • Take a printout of the confirmation page for future use.
    • Application Fee as per the category and the gender of the candidate is mentioned below:
    1. The application fee for Male (General/OBC) is INR 1000. 
    2. The fees for SC/ST/female/PD candidates is INR 500.

    Ans. According to the NEST cutoff trends, the required cutoff remains around 45% of the total marks. However, if you want to get a seat at NISER Bhubaneswar, securing just the cutoff marks won’t be enough. Getting admission will depend on your rank. A rank of around 700 should get you a seat.     Ans. NEST exam cutoff and minimum admissible score varies each year depending on different factors.
