JEMAT 2023 Result: Check Merit List, Scorecard, Cut Off and Counselling Dates

JEMAT 2023 Result is expected to be announced in July 2023. The result will be announced by the Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad University of Technology on its official website. Candidates need to enter their login id (application number) and password to access the results which will be available in the form of a scorecard containing the sectional and overall score.

JEMAT result declaration is followed by GD (Group Discussion) and PI (Personal Interview) rounds. A JEMAT 2023 Rank list of candidates would be released by MAKAUT. The rank list will consist of the details of the name, registration number and rank obtained by the candidate. Candidates making it to the Rank list will be eligible to participate in JEMAT counselling 2023 process.

How to check the JEMAT 2023 Result?

As the result is declared online, so following the simple 4 step process is good for checking the result:

Open the official website: makautwb.ac.in
Check for the link “JEMAT 2023 result” displayed on the homepage.
Click on the link and this will take you to a new webpage.
Provide the details of the roll number on the screen.
Click on the “Submit” button.
The rank list will be displayed on the screen; if your rank is present it will be displayed on the screen, as highlighted field else rank list will come simply.

JEMAT 2023 Merit List

JEMAT 2023 Merit List will be released on the basis of the result declared and the students will have access to the entire PDF document issued or released by the examination authorities. JEMAT 2023 Merit list will be designed on the basis of the performance in the JEMAT exam.

JEMAT 2023 merit list will contain the following details:

Rank obtained
Date of birth
Father’s name
Marks secured by the candidate

Tie-breaking criteria for JEMAT 2023: -

In case two or more candidates have scored the same marks, a tie-breaking practice will be followed. The students will be analyzed on the following criteria:

Profile: Here the educational background is analyzed among the two or more students and one best is given the position.
Work experience: this will be used as the second parameter, students who have higher work experience in a managerial position will be given higher marks and the seat will be allotted.
Age: this is the last step; the student older in age will be given the seat.

JEMAT 2023 Cut Off

JEMAT cut off is the minimum cut off marks that must be secured by the candidate so that he/she could appear for the further rounds of GD/PI. The cut off is dependent on the following factors:

Number of registered applicants
Total number of test-takers
Difficulty level of the exam
Marking scheme
Total number of seats
Reservation policy of the institute

The cut off is different for each of the colleges and so a separate list is generated by each college after the counselling is done. Students have to qualify and clear the minimum cut off defined by each of the colleges and their eligibility requirements.

JEMAT 2023 Counselling

JEMAT counselling will be done on the basis of the rank list. Students will be invited by colleges for the counselling process. The seat allotment will be done on the basis of the overall performance in the entrance test, GD and PI.

Students have to apply separately for the counselling process for each of the college.
Students will appear for GD/PI of each college separately.
The separate fee has to be paid for each of the college counselling process.
Registration is done only once during the counselling process.
Seat allotment is confirmed only once the application fee is paid.
