GUJCET 2023 Result is announced by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Board, also known as GSHSB. Candidates can check their GUJCET 2023 results on the official website- gseb.org by following the below-mentioned steps:

GUJCET Merit List
GUJCET 2023 Merit List
In GUJCET 2023, the merit list is made based on both the candidate’s marks in the Senior Secondary exam and in the GUJCET exam.

GUJCET 2023 merit list contains all the qualifying students’ names. The shortlisted candidates are called for further steps of admission. The merit list is made on the data of normalized scores and the number of vacant seats. ACPC prepares the merit list of GUJCET 2023 Students can check their rank in the merit list online. Name wise merit list is not available. Individual rank and score can be checked.

60% weightage is given to 10+2 (Higher Secondary) marks and 40% percent weightage is given to the marks obtained in GUJCET 2023 examination.
- Normalization is a fair grading practice. The scores are normalized because of different factors- different sets have different difficulties, etc. The final score is a good measure to find the candidate’s overall capability.
- The formula used in GUJCET exam is: 0.60 x Class XII marks + 0.40 x GUJCET 2023 Marks = Final Score of the Aspirant
GUJCET 2023 Tie-Breaker Criteria
The following criteria are followed when more than 1 candidate scores the same marks in GUJCET 2023:
- Primarily, candidates who score higher in Physics and Mathematics are given preference.
- Secondly, candidates who score higher in Maths and Chemistry are given preference.
- If the tie is still not broken, sectional marks for all categories are compared.
Based upon the final score, candidates are shortlisted and the merit list is prepared.
GUJCET 2023 Stepwise Counselling Process
Step 1 - Registration and Filling of Counseling Form: Applicants will be required to go to the official website and register for the advice and seat allocation of GUJCET 2023. When filling out the registration form, the candidates will include their basic information, which included the name of the father and the mobile number.
Step 2 - Filling the Detailed Application Form: Next, the candidates will be required to fill the detailed application form by providing the details on personal, academic, competitive exam, and other details. GUJCET 2023/JEE Main application number also had to be provided.
Step 3- Release of Merit List: The counseling authority has issued the provisional merit list of all registered candidates on the basis of their marks in GUJCET 2023 / JEE Main. The allocation of seats will be based on the merit list.
Step 4 - Allocation of seats: the authorities will assign seats on the basis of GUJCET 2023. Candidates will be able to verify the result of the seat allocation by logging in using their User ID and password. The letter of the assignment will be available to those applicants who are chosen for entry. Candidates who are happy with their allocation will have to freeze their seats by paying the necessary fee. The payment can be done in online (net banking/credit card/debit card) or offline mode (at the nearest Kotak Mahindra Bank). The admission slip will be generated only after the payment is made. Candidates who are not satisfied with their allotted seats will be able to participate in the further rounds of counseling and seat allotment.
Step 5 - Reporting at Allotted Institutes: Candidates who wish to complete the admission process will have to report to their allotted institute after the required fee is paid. While reporting to the allotted institute, the candidates will also have to produce their documents such as admission slip, payment receipt/challan, information letter, and more.

GUJCET 2023 Seat Allotment
Based on the following factors, students will be allotted a seat in one of GUJCET 2023 Participating College. They can view their status by logging in to the website.

- Availability of seats
Candidates can check their status by logging in to their accounts on the official website. If an applicant wishes to validate their admission, they will be allowed to pay the fee via a specified bank or online payment. Payment is needed to confirm your seat in the GUJCET 2023 therapy process.
GUJCET Choice Filling and Choice Locking
Fill the course and college of your preference for admission by logging in to your account. The account login requires the User ID, password and 14 digit PIN. Candidates will be able to add, remove, swap, and move the choices. After completion of the GUJCET choice filling process, candidates will go for the choice locking. Check all the filled choices and then enter the 14 digit PIN to submit the choices of course and college preference. Click on the “Unlock choices” in order to make any changes in the locked choices.
GUJCET 2023 Counselling: Document Verification
Before the commencement of classes, candidates are required to verify their documents for GUJCET 2023 Counselling process. It will be a process only for the candidates who have been allotted their seats. After the document verification process, candidates will have to report to their respective institutions to complete the remaining admission formalities

The cut off for GUJCET 2023 will be released by the official authority, the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC). The general cut off is published by ACPC along with the course-wise and institute-wise cut-off. The opening and closing ranks of institutes will be present in GUJCET 2023 cut-off.
