AP LAWCET is organized once a year. Candidates will be shortlisted for admission to the LLB courses on the basis of this state-level entrance examination. Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) also conducts online mock tests for AP LAWCET candidates.
- AP LAWCET is conducted for admission in two courses- 3-years LLB and 5years LLB.
- The three years LLB courses consist of LLB and LLB (Hons). The five years LLB consists of BA LLB, BA LLB (Hons), BBA LLB, and B.Com LLB courses.
- The question paper of AP LAWCET comprises of three sections- Section A, Section B, and Section C. Section A and Section B consists of 30 questions, and Question C consists of 60 questions.

Qualifying Marks in AP LAWCET
The AP LAWCET Qualifying Marks for 3 years and 5 years courses is mentioned below:
- Candidates will have to obtain a minimum of 35% in the test. For eg. 42 marks out of the total marks of 120, to appear for assessment and ranking of AP LAWCET.
- Candidates belonging to SC or ST categories do not require minimum qualifying marks.
- The qualifying percentage of marks for the LLM program is 25% i.e 30 marks out of total 120 marks. There will be no qualifying marks for SC and ST ranking.
