    AP LAWCET 2023 Syllabus for both 3-year LLB, and 5-year LLB Courses is released by Sri Krishnadevaraya University; the conducting body. AP LAWCET Syllabus includes 3 sections, i.e. Aptitude for the Study of Law, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, and Mental Ability. AP LAWCET is an online test of 90 minutes duration.

    • Applicants are asked a total of 120 multiple-choice objective-type questions. The medium for the exam is English or Telugu.
    • There are 120 questions with a score of 1 mark each, making a total of 120 Marks. Check AP LAWCET Exam Pattern
    • There is no negative marking in the paper.
    • A general AP LAWCET candidate must secure a minimum of 45 marks to enter into the merit list. However, there is no such criteria for SC/ ST.

    Candidates appearing for this test must fulfill AP LAWCET Eligibility Criteriaas mentioned below

    General Eligibility

    1. Candidate must be an Indian Citizen.
    2. For Andhra Pradesh Students, they must have a domicile of Andhra Pradesh.
    3. Currently, there is no age limit for applying in AP LAWCET.

    3 - years LLB Course Eligibility

    1. Candidate must have been graduated from a recognized University.
    2. Candidate must have scored minimum 45% marks in the qualifying exam.

    5 - years LLB Course Eligibility

    1. Candidate must be Intermediate passed with any stream from a recognized Institute/ Board.
    2. Candidate must have secured a minimum of 45% marks in their qualifying exam.

    AP LAWCET 2023 Section-wise Important Topics

    • AP LAWCET Syllabus is prepared by an assigned University by APSCHE.
    • AP LAWCET Syllabus has 3 sections, i.e. Aptitude for Study of Law, General Knowledge and Mental Ability, and Current Affairs.
    • For 3-years LLB Course, questions will be of graduation level, whereas, for 5-years LLB Course, question is going to stay as that of intermediate level only.
    • AP LAWCET exam pattern for both 3-year and 5-year LLB exams will be similar. Other than the difficulty level of the exam, no other changes will be made for 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB.

    1. Check the Syllabus: Candidate must check the syllabus thoroughly before starting the preparation. He/She must be aware of the minute details of the syllabus to avoid any wastage of time.
    2. Follow a Routine: Candidate is advised to prepare a Routine with proper allotments to each of the subject. He/She must try to follow the routine to its maximum trying to gain more out of it.

    Ans.: No. AP LAWCET can be taken in online mode only. You must learn how to operate a Computer and a Mouse, if you want to take this Exam.

    Ques. Is there any minimum marks to be secured in AP LAWCET to be eligible for the Merit List?

    Ans.: Yes. A candidate needs to score a minimum of 42 marks out of 120 marks to be eligible for the Merit List. This criteria needs to be fulfilled for only General Candidates. For SC/ST, there is no minimum marks criteria.
