AP DEECET 2023: Exam Dates, Registration, Eligibility, Syllabus, Exam Pattern, Result, Cut Off
AP DEECET 2023 is expected to be conducted in the last week of June 2023. AP DEECET 2023 Application Form is expected to available on the official website - apdeecet.apcfss.in - by May 2023.As per AP DEECET 2023 Eligibility Criteria, candidates who have completed their 10+2 or its equivalent examination from the board of Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana are only allowed to appear for the examination. As per AP DEECET 2023 Exam Pattern,a total of 100 multiple-choice questions will be asked in both English and Tamil language. The question paper is divided into 2 parts where part A is compulsory and comprises general questions from Language, General Knowledge, and Basic Mathematics. Part B comprises 4 papers i.e. Mathematics, Physical science, Biological Science and Social Studies, and candidates have to choose 1 out of the provided options. 1 mark is awarded to students for every correct answer whereas no mark is deducted for any wrong attempt.
AP DEECET 2023 Result is expected to be released tentatively by the 1st week of July, 2023, along with the response sheet on the official website. Candidates can download their scorecard by entering the candidate's ID and date of birth. The answer key will also be released in Pdf format.

AP DEECET 2023 Eligibility
Before beginning to fill the online application form students must check their eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria of AP DEECET 2023 is as follows:
- Student should be Indian National
- Students have completed 17 years of age on 1st September of the year of admission. There shall be no upper age limit.
- Candidate should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh and also should satisfy Local/ Non Local status requirements laid down in the Andhra Pradesh State Education Institutions.
- All the interested candidates should have completed 10+2 or equivalent examination from recognized board of Andhra Pradesh or Telangana
- Candidates must have secured minimum of 50% marks and 45% marks must be secured by the SC/ ST/ PH category candidates.
- Those who have passed intermediate with vocational courses are not eligible for admission.
AP DEECET 2023 Application Form
After satisfying the eligibility criteria students must fill the online application form through online mode only. The application process comprises two phases i.e. Filling up Online Application and Application fee payment. Following is the detailed explanation of both the phases:
Step 1: Filling up Online Application
- Visit the official website of Government of Andhra Pradesh School of Education Department
- Students must go through the instructions to fill up the online application form.
- Fill all the details correctly in the application form.
- Upload the scanned photo (30kb - 20kb) and signature (30kb – 15kb1.5 cm) in the required format
- After entering all the details and uploading photograph and signature, finally click on the Submit button
- Candidates are advised to download and take the printout of the filled in application form for future reference.
Step 2: Payment of Application Fee
- Once the application form is submitted, pay the application fee of INR 600/- for General category and INR 500/- for students belonging to SC/ ST category.
- The application fee must be paid through online mode only via, i.e. Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking.
Students must keep the following information ready for filling the details in the Application Form:
- Hall Ticket Number, place of study, percentage of qualifying exam.
- Hall Ticket Number, passing year, place of study for SSC or equivalent.
- Caste in case of SC, ST, OBC candidate
- Personal details for Name, Fathers Name, Mother Name, Mobile Number, Aadhar Number etc.
- PH, NCC, NSS, CAP, Sports etc.
- Income certificate up to one lakh, two lakh or more than two lakh
- Study or Residence or Relevant certificate for proof of local status
- Recent digital colour photograph and signature.
AP DEECET 2023 Admit Card
Admit card is a very important document. Without admit card students are not allowed to appear for the entrance examination. Students can download the admit card through online mode only. Admit card contains the details like Exam Centre, Name, Hall Ticket Number, Exam Timing, Exam Venue, etc.
By following below steps, students can download the admit card:
- Visit the official website of Government of Andhra Pradesh School of Education Department
- On the website home page, search for the Know Your Hall Ticket link
- Click on the Know Your Hall Ticket link
- Enter the Reference ID/ Candidate ID
- Click on the Go button
After clicking on the button, admit card will be displayed on the screen. Students can download the admit card and keep it safe till the admission process ends. Students must also keep the Xerox copy of the admit card to appear in the written test.
AP DEECET 2023 Exam Center
During filling application form, students can choose the examination centre according to their preference. Once the examination centre is selected cannot be changed later. DEECET 2023 entrance test is conducted in the 13 districts of Andhra Pradesh.

AP DEECET 2023 Exam Pattern
Students must check the examination pattern before appearing in the entrance test. By solving previous year papers, students can easily get idea about the type of questions and marking scheme of the entrance test. After knowing the examination pattern, students can clear the entrance test with better marks.
Following is the detailed examination pattern of AP DEECET 2023:
- AP DEECET 2023 is conducted through online mode only
- The entrance test comprises 100 objective type multiple choice questions
- The paper will be divided into two parts i.e. Part 1(common to all) and Part 2 for subject (as per candidate’s choice)
- Time duration to complete the examination is 2 hours 30 minutes.
- For each correct answer, 1 mark will be awarded.
- Students are free to attempt all the questions because there is no negative marking for wrong answers.
- In Part A, questions will be asked from the subject such as Teaching Aptitude, General Knowledge, English, Telugu, Mathematics, General Science, Social Studies.
- In Part B, questions will be asked from the subject i.e. Mathematics, Physical Science, Biological Science and Social Studies.
- The question paper shall be in Telugu/ English or Urdu/ English and Tamil/ English only.

AP DEECET 2023 Syllabus
Before appearing in the entrance examination, students must check the examination syllabus very carefully. Students are advised not to skip any of the topics given in the syllabus to secure better marks. APDEECET 2023 entrance examination is divided into two Parts i.e. Part A and Part B.

AP DEECET 2023 Result
Andhra Pradesh School of Education Department will declare the result tentatively by the 1st week of July 2023, on its official website. Students can check the result through online mode only.
By following below-mentioned steps, students will be able to check AP DEECET 2023 Result:
- Visit the official website of Government of Andhra Pradesh School of Education Department
- Search for the Result link on website homepage
- Enter the Hall Ticket Number on the official website to check the result.
- Click on the submit button
After clicking on the button, the result will be displayed on the screen. Students are advised to take the printout of the result for future reference. The result will shows candidates Name, Marks, Roll Number, Exam Centre and Other information.
AP DEECET 2023 Counselling
Student’s final selection will be based on the counselling round. Shortlisted candidates will only be called for the counselling. Counselling will be conducted through online mode only. Counselling for the eligible candidates will be started in the 1st week of July 2023 (tentatively).
- After the allotment list is released, Candidates will have to download AP DEECET Admission letter.
- Provisional Admission Letter can be downloaded from Official Website using Hall Ticket Number & Date of Birth.
Students have to follow the below-mentioned counselling process in order to register for counselling:
- Visit the official website of AP DEECET.
- Search and click on the link related to Web Counselling Process.
- Register and start filling the colleges choice
- Now pay the counselling fees through the payment gateway.
- After that, conducting board will announce AP DEECET 2023 Seat Allotment.
- If students get allotment in Government college, he/ she has to pay an amount of INR 2500
- If students get allotment in Private college, he/ she has to pay tuition fees of amount INR 12500
- Finally, applicants must report the seat allotted college.
AP DEECET 2023 Cut Off
Cut off are the minimum qualifying marks which should be obtained by candidate in order to clear the entrance examination. Cut off marks will be published on the official website. With the help of the cut off marks students will get an idea whether they are shortlisted for selection process or not.
