AJEE 2023 Exam Pattern, Marking Scheme and Syllabus
AISECT University conducts its entrance exam - AJEE for admission to its various undergraduate and postgraduate courses. AJEE 2023 will be conducted in offline and online mode. Exam dates will be announced soon
- The questions will be put up in the format of the Multiple-choice questions.
- The exam will be of 2 hours and marks for the same is 100. Check Marking Scheme
- Negative marking will be not applicable.
- Number of sections covered for each course’s exam varies.
- AJEE Syllabus for each exam differs from each other.

For Offline Mode of Exam
- The venue details for selected offline examination centers will be mentioned on the official AISECT website.
- Candidate will have the option to choose his/her preferred exam center while filling up the registration form.
- Examination will be OMR based.
- There will be no negative marking for choosing an incorrect option.
- Candidate can only use a blue or a black ball point pen for answering the questions.
For Online Mode of Exam
- The venue details for the selected online examination centers will be mentioned on the official AISECT website.
- Candidate will have the option to choose his/her preferred exam center while filling up the registration form.
- A user ID and password will allow him/her access to the online exam.
- A timer will appear on the candidate’s screen as soon as he/she starts the exam.
- Those who are appearing for the exam have option to flag a question that he/she wishes to attempt after completing the rest of the paper.
- There will be no negative marking for unanswered questions.
- Candidate will have the option to submit his/her answers after he/she has completed the exam. The test will end automatically after the timer has ended.

- Candidates will not be given a negative marking for answering a question incorrectly.
- There will be no penalty for leaving an answer blank.
- Candidates cannot choose more than one answer for a question as all the questions will be multiple choice questions (MCQs) with a single correct response.
The number of sections will vary depending on the course the candidate has chosen to take the exam on.

Important Exam Day Instructions
Candidates must keep the following in mind during the exam.
- Make a careful note of the exam center and mode well in advance before the exam day and report to the exam center at least 45 mins prior to the commencement of the exam.
- Carry the admit card with them during all times in the process of the examination.
- For offline mode of exam, the OMR sheet has to be filled clearly in blue or black ball point pen only.
- Candidates can select only one answer for each question.
- For the online exam, a timer will run on the candidate’s screen as soon as he/she begins the exam. The timer will automatically stop after 2 hours.
