Amrita University offers a good B.Tech program. Compared to VIT, it is better.

It follows a great syllabus along with a decent grading system.
The faculty pool is great. The professors are well-experienced and dedicated.
It offers good facilities to the students. The library is huge. Four years of engineering isn’t enough to explore it completely.
The campus environment is great. You will get good sports facilities along with a swimming pool.
According to the highlights of Amrita University B.Tech placements, the average CTC is INR 5.8 LPA.

Overall, the B.Tech program offers decent facilities along with good placements.

In MBA Tech course students get to study B.Tech and MBA. overall it is a good course. NMIMS started offering this course to meet the growing demand for techno-managers in the industry. The program is tailormade by industry experts and academicians to meet the industry requirements.

MBA Tech is an integrated program that aims to produce Techno-Managers. There will be Technical Industrial Training of 8 weeks and Management Industrial Training of 20 weeks.

Jadavpur University has managed to survive the recession to give its student a handsome placement package. My friend is currently studying there and their placement happens all around the years, unlike IITs where placement happens for two weeks or so.

Like most engineering colleges, CSE as usual tops the placement with their highest packages. The most popular recruiters include Amazon, Microsoft, Adobe, Goldman Sachs, etc.

Almost 100% of students are placed in all the branches. Here are some branch-wise placement statistics for the year 2020.

NMIMS MBA Tech is a good program, especially for those who want to pursue MBA after their B.Tech. A graduate of MBA Tech gets two degrees - BTech and MBA in 5 years. You also don’t have to prepare for MBA entrance examinations.

NMIMS is a well-known name in the management sector. You will get a good exposure. NMIMS placement highlights of recent years show the average CTC offered for MBA Tech is around INR 7.50 LPA. While the highest CTC offered is INR 21.4 LPA.

A friend of mine did her BTech from IEM Kolkata and now she is working as a Cyber Security Analyst in a big firm. Here are a few things that she experienced in her duration at the college.

Unnecessary Rules: Students often complain about the unnecessary discipline enforced by the college to attend all of the lectures and seminars irrespective of their choice and usefulness.
Faculty: In terms of faculty, there is a mix of average and good professors. But most of the good professors are moving to different colleges.
Placements: In the terms of placement, the data may show it as amazing but in reality, most of the students of IEM end up in mass recruiting jobs offered by any IT company. Only a few of the students end up in good companies.

If you are choosing IEM try to make the most of it. Other than college learning, try and take up some extra courses such as coding or hacking and security, it will help a lot. There are a handful of helpful faculties at IEM. Interacting and working with those professors will help a lot in going good places.

Learn to utilize their time and learn new things. Learn something new and read as much as possible. If you are not happy with campus placements then you should look for off-campus placements as well.

What is the difference between BE and B.Tech?

The fundamental difference between BE and BTech is the way these courses are delivered. Contrary to the popular misconception, BE isn’t just theory oriented. Both BE and BTech coursework includes theory as well as practicals. But a BTech offers a more in-depth and advanced level study of a particular field. While BE covers the fundaments.

There are no such differences between BE and BTech, other than the course pattern. These two courses are considered equivalent. In terms of preference, your institute will matter more compared to your degree. IIT students certainly enjoy some advantages in terms of placements and higher studies.

Is the MBA tech course offered by NMIMS Mumbai Certified?

The MBA Tech. program is specially designed to meet this growing need. It is an integrated course that comprises B.Tech and MBA. It is to be completed in a tenure of 5 years (3+2 years).

The engineering degree is to be completed in 3 years with 15+ subjects each semester and MBA will be completed in 2 years.
All programs of MPSTME are approved by the AICTE.
The faculty for management is the same as the core students of NMIMS.

The student will receive 2 degrees at the end of 5 years:-

B.Techfrom NMIMS University.
MBA in Technology specialized in the particular subject you choose in your 4th year for Management Studies.
