ICAS , MAHE college experience review

What I Liked

I like that the course gets us ready for the type of education we are going to receive abroad.
the less number of students in the classroom really helps in interaction with each other and the teachers.
the quality of education and the infrastructure of the campus is also really good.

What I didn’t like

As we have to get a transfer in 2 years, the schedule is a little tough and busy.
If you happen to get a backlog in any subject, you will have to sit with the juniors and clear those papers.
you may not be able to experience the entire Indian college lifestyle

Course Curriculum Overview:

In the first year the course subjects are pretty similar to what the students might have learnt in their high school, in most subjects. The course i am under right now is AI/ML , for which the subjects n contents actually help you and prepares you for real world applications and further academic pursuits.

Remarks:

The other college i was interested in was MIT Manipal, i chose ICAS over manipal because ICAS allows you for a transfer. Going abroad for higher studies was always on my list, ICAS actually made it easier because the cost is also cheaper compared to doing all 4 years abroad and you get to experaince what doing college in India feels like too. I felt like i was getting the best of both worlds, hence chose ICAS over MIT.
