Jindal School of Art and Architecture (JSAA), Sonepat comes under the umbrella O P Jindal Global University (JGU) of Sonepat. The institute offers undergraduate degree courses in the disciplines of Architecture and Design. The institute’s flagship course is the B.Arch programme. Apart from that, JSAA also offers B.A. Hons. (Built Environment Studies) and B.Des.- Interior, Community & Urban programs at the undergraduate level. As one of the 12 colleges under the O.P. Jindal Global University, JSAA has established international collaborations and student exchange programme with institutions like University of Michigan, McGill University, University of New South Wales, University of Adelaide and Rhode Island School of Design. These international universities also choose students from JSAA for their postgraduate programmes. The architecture school also has partnerships with different heritage sectors including International Summer School (Palermo, Italy) and International Conferences (Water & Heritage) 2019 with the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences (Vienna, ICOMOS). Students of Architecture major also get to participate in exchange studios and collaborative works with students from some of the best schools in architecture such as Cornell University College of Architecture, Art, and Planning, DAAP (University of Cincinnati), Bartlett (University College of London), etc.
The three round selection to the institute’s courses are conducted on the basis of scores of NATA/JEE-2/JCAT scores and applicant’s personal statement. Students who apply for schaolarships are needed to appear for an interview. While students with 10+2 qualification in any stream can apply for B.Des and BA in Built Environment Science, the B.Arch Programme requires the applicants to have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in their board exams. JSAA is accepting applications for the academic year of 2022.

The college invites applications for admissions in undergraduate programs from students. Candidates can apply online mode.

Jindal School of Art and Architecture Scholarships
As per the guidelines of O.P. Jindal Global University, JSAA offers Merit-cum-Means Scholarships and Savitri Jindal (SJ) Scholarship to the students every year. The count of SJ Scholarships must be a minimum of 40% of the total intake per program. Candidates qualifying for this scholarship benefit are assessed on merit in the entrance exam, means (family income), and personal interview performance.

- Digital Centre: JSAA provides students with full time access to high end workstations, 3-d printer, printer-scanner, plotters, DSLR cameras, wide-angle and telephoto lenses for developing and producing their work. They also help them to learn to work on various software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Autodesk, Bentley Suite, ArcGIS and ENVI.
- Fabrication Lab: JSAA provides the students the opportunity to learn to work with various materials which helps them to give physical form to their ideas. The students are trained to work with both hand held and fixed fabrication equipment, along with 3D software.
- Environment Research Lab: The students are given the opportunity to learn about various materials, their strengths, usability and areas of application. This includes both natural and man-made resources such as soil, wood, sand, timber, concrete, brick, cement and many others.
- Construction Yard: The construction yard is provided by the college so that the students will learn about various typologies and techniques of construction and structural systems. They will work simultaneously with machine equipment and software for designing structural systems helping them to gain practical knowledge.

Ques. Does JSAA provide summer internships?
Ans. The internship initiative at the JSAA which starts after the foundation year at the college aims to further integrate the learnings of the field and the academia. Students are required to complete 4- 5 internships during their course of study. Each Internship is for a minimum of 4 weeks extendable to 8 weeks in each case.
