New Delhi: The Madras High Court has upheld an order of the Registrar of Annamalai University in Tamil Nadu which denied double promotion to a batch of writ petitioners. Justice D. Krishnakumar upheld the university notification from April 2021, while dismissing a batch of writ petitioners

New Delhi: Annamalai University's Open and Distance Learning (ODL) courses are declared invalid by UGC. In a public warning, the Higher Education Regulator advised students not to enrol in ODL courses given by Annamalai University because they contravene the commission's rules and regulations.
