The programs offered include a three year undergraduate degree program in Hospitality as well as in culinary studies. The college also offers PhD. and two years masters program in Tourism. Candidates who have completed 10+2 level examination are eligible to apply for B.Sc and Diploma program.

D.Y. Patil School of Hospitality and Tourism Studies is a pioneer in Hospitality and Tourism Education. It was established by the Founder Chancellor of the university, Padmashree D.Y. Patil in the year 1992. Earlier, it was affiliated to the University of Mumbai but in 2005, it was incorporated under D.Y. Patil University.
