Government Engineering College, Vaishali conducts its admissions based on the rank card of the candidate. The candidate gets a rank card from UGEAC that tells the Unreserved Rank (UR) and the reserved rank. The Unreserved Rank is the rank when there are no reservations. The UR changes if a candidate comes under a reserved category and the resulting rank is the reserved rank of the candidate. The college has reserved seats for the candidates of backward classes.
How to apply?
- After obtaining the result of JEE (MAINS), the candidate will have to go to the BCECEB website and apply for UGEAC.
- To apply for UGEAC, the candidates will have to register themselves and make an account on the BCECEB website.
- After making and activating the account, the candidates will have to sign in with their account and fill in their personal details.
- The candidates will have to upload a scanned copy of their passport size photograph and signature.
- The candidates will have to fill in their educational details and pay the Counselling Fee.
- The Counselling Fee can be paid by Bank Challan or online.
- The candidate must keep printed copies of the application form and the receipt of the Counselling Fee.
- UGEAC will release rank cards that will have the UR and reserved rank of a candidate.
- UGEAC will also release the cut-off/merit list for admission to its colleges. UGEAC will release the cut-off/merit list in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd rounds.
- Candidates can fill in the college of their choice based on their rank and the cut-off/merit list in their respective accounts.
- Later at the time of counselling, the candidate will have to carry the necessary original documents.
- After document verification and entry in the college database, the candidate must pay the fees for the course.
- After the successful payment of fees, seat allotment is finalised.
