Sanjay Memorial Institute of Technology, Berhampur was started in the year 1980 by late Sri Brundaban Nayak. It was the first Institute in Orissa to provide technical education. Its main objective was local development in modern context. It is built over an area of 17.09 acres of land and is 15 km away from Berhampur city.
