Eligibility

• Candidates seeking direct admissions to full time B.Tech programmes, must have passed diploma course from any affiliated and approved institute/polytechnic with minimum 50% (45% for reserved category) marks
• For vertical entry, a candidate must have passed Diploma course GKCIET with minimum 50% (45% for reserved category) marks

Selection Criteria

Admissions are purely made on the basis of merit in All India GKCIET Entrance exam or GET-III for the academic year in case of direct admissions.

For vertical entry, the institute conducts a test and a candidate is required to clear the test for selection.

The entrance exam is mandatory for admissions to candidates belonging to states other than West Bengal.
