Yogananda College of Engineering & Technology (YCET) is an AICTE(All India Council for Technical Education) approved self-financed institution. YCET is located at Gurha Brahmana (Patoli), Akhnoor Road, Jammu, about 8 kms from Jammu General Bus Stand. One of the top institutions in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir(as per J&K Reorganization Act, 201) is well recognized by the Government of India and is affiliated to the University of Jammu.

YCET currently runs four full-time 4-year Bachelor’s Programme in Engineering.

The college takes admission through the list issued by Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BoPEE). However, the college also accepts students under NRI and other quotas as per regulations issued by AICTE and the state Government.

Selection criteria

Admission to YCET is based on Common Entrance Test (Engineering) that is conducted by the BoPEE. The most important thing to consider before applying online is that one must be a resident of the Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. 

The application for the exam is through ONLINE mode while the examination will be held in OFFLINE mode.
