Al Ameen Medical College was established in the year 1984 in the city of Bijapur in Karnataka. The college is recognized by the Medical Council of India since 1994 and is also affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.

Al Ameen Medical College offers MBBS degree at the UG level. For admission to MBBS, candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, English, Biology/Biotechnology from any recognized board. Al Ameen Medical College offers MD and MS course in various specializations along with PG Diploma in selected disciplines.
