The course curriculum is divided into 6 semesters. The courses are Operations Management, Human Resource Management, Marketing Management, Finance, and IT & Business Analytics. The faculty members are good and most are from well-reputed colleges with great industrial experience. Some are extremely knowledgeable, some are strict, and some teach through fun activities. A lot of case study discussions will take place during the course as well as practical exposure through industrial visits and live projects. Exam timelines are tight, whereas exam patterns are mostly application-based, which makes us inculcate time management skills and the application of theoretical knowledge as well.
Read Full ReviewIt has a really good curriculum that is relevant to the industry's requirements. As a first year, it was for setting up a foundation strong in all aspects of management, and as a second year, we are allowed to choose electives from a wide variety. Our curriculum is well supported by live projects and industrial visits where we learn about both the theory and the practical aspects of management. A few faculties are really good and will put their whole hearts into their students. The case study approach helps to understand the concepts and the frequency of exams is a bit high, but it helps you prepare for a corporate career.
Read Full ReviewI wanted to pursue Marketing major so I chose this course. I got pretty good reviews regarding XIME, Kochi from the alumni of the college. All the faculty here are cooperative and supportive. They encourage us to learn more every day. They are pretty good mentors. Being a PGDM course, the exams are not simple but help us to use our creative minds.
Read Full ReviewI wanted to do a PGDM course to enhance my skills and get a better job than what I was working for. The faculties at XIME Kochi are more of mentors and they train and helped me prepare for corporate life. The classrooms are well equipped with facilities like AC, projector, and smart boards. The examination pattern is a trimester system with a mid-term and end-term in every trimester.
