Keeping the admission process simple and easy we have steps for you to follow:
Step 1: Enquiry Form
The first step is to fill our Enquiry Form which can be filled for free.
Step 2: Discussion and Eligibility check
After submitting the Enquiry Form, the aspirant receives an email, message and whats app to further initiate the application form. The aspirants can also request for a call from the counsellor to know more about the course and eligibility.
Step 3: Application Form
- Aspirants seeking admission can proceed with filling application form and submit with a payment of INR 1103/-
- After the Submission of Application, aspirants will be given the option to choose scholarships they are eligible for and they may fill in all the details in the requisite form. They will be intimated if selected for the same.
Step 4: Seat Booking
UG/PG Courses - On successfully clearing the GAT, the applicants will get their result in stipulated time through their registered email Id and they will be expected to reserve their seat by paying the registration amount of 35000/- in 3 working days.
After submitting the Application form students intending to pursue UG and PG courses will receive their Admit Card on their registered email Id for the Aptitude Test. The Admit Card will have all the prerequisites and guidelines required for every applicant to read before appearing for GAT. GAT is divided into two rounds-Situation Test and Personal Interview. We do not assess the student on their design technicalities, rather the complete focus is to understand the design sensibility ,Visualization and observation skill of the applicant.
Diploma/Short Term Courses - On submitting the application form, the applicant will be enabled to pay the registration amount of INR. 35000/- within 3 working days.
Step 5: Admission Confirmation
On successful payment of the seat booking amount, the candidate will be provided with the Admission mail from the Admissions Department confirming his/ her admission to the opted program. After this, the candidate will be required to submit the 1st semester fees as per his/ her payment plan on the stipulated date given by the Academic Counselor.
Step 6: Commencement of the program
A communication of Batch Announcement is sent on the registered email Id with all the required details and invite of the Orientation program. Before starting the classes the student is given an Institute Bag, formal ICard and a set of course books. During the orientation program the student is introduced to her/his faculties and navigation through the JD Student Portal. This day commences a student's journey as a “ Jediiian”.
NOTE: It is mandatory for the applicants to get the Receipt-cum-Acknowledgement duly signed by the Admissions Department (virtual signatures) after any payment they make during the session.
Lateral Entry
We have a provision of Lateral Entry in our UG programs. The candidate can start her/his journey with us from second year by providing proof of 1st year studies with a reputed institute.
Continued Education
At JD institute we believe in promoting education from where you left it due to life circumstances. You can produce a gap certificate validating an appropriate reason for a study sabbatical. Once approved by the authorities you can enroll and restart with your education.
