DDE LMNU, established in 1972 is a non-profit public institution for higher education and started its distance learning program in 1998. DDE LNMU is located in the beautiful region of Mithila in the lower Himalayas. The area is historically very cultural. There are somewhat 400 teaching and research faculty and at present the university has 67 colleges.

It offers courses like UG, PG, BLIS, MLIS and professional programs like B Ed in the regular mode which is by the approval of UGC, DP, NCTE and the state of Bihar.
Admission can be done both in the off-line mode as well as online mode.
Admission is solely merit-based and the candidates are admitted on the basis of the last examination conducted.

Selection Process for DDE LNMU (B.Ed.)
