A AUTHENTIC LIFE AT COLLEGE

What I Liked

The campus of St. Francis de Sales College is vibrant and welcoming, with a diverse student body that creates an inclusive atmosphere. The college hosts various cultural events and extracurricular activities that foster community and personal growth
The faculty members are well-qualified and approachable, providing valuable insights and mentorship. Their teaching methods often include a blend of traditional lectures and interactive sessions, which help in better understanding the concepts.
The college boasts well-maintained infrastructure, including modern classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, a comprehensive library, and comfortable study spaces. The sports facilities are also commendable, encouraging a healthy balance between acade

While the placement services are functional, they could benefit from stronger industry ties and a more proactive approach in securing diverse opportunities for students. Career counseling could be more personalized and frequent.
Although the campus life is active, there could be more initiatives to enhance interaction between different departments. Some students may feel that the focus on academics overshadows opportunities for social and cultural engagement.While the facult

Placement Experience:

Placements start in the final year, with top companies like TCS, Infosys, and Wipro visiting. The highest package offered was ?10 LPA, with an average of ?4 LPA across IT, finance, and marketing roles. About 75% of students secure placements. After graduation, I plan to gain industry experience before pursuing higher studies. While the placement rate is decent, expanding company partnerships and offering diverse profiles could enhance opportunities.

Remarks:

The admission process was straightforward, with clear eligibility criteria and timely notifications. The application form was available online with a reasonable fee. Cut-offs were fair, and entrance exams were challenging but manageable. Reservation benefits were well-implemented. However, the process could be improved with more transparent communication and quicker updates on application status. Rating: 7/110

THE LIFE OF A MIDDLE CLASS STUDENT

What I Liked

Best thing about the college is that we have a great infrastructure.
And there are regular events and activities conducted in the college
We also have access to very highly qualified teachers

What I didn’t like

One of the major drawback of the college is their high fees structure

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course I have selected is Bachelor of Commerce which has a high varities of options for a choosing a job in future and with regarding the course the we are getting knowledge about how the real world work place is going to be and how we should attend the interviews and all the things are being taught for us which would prove useful while searching for a job in the near future.

Remarks:

The admission process was the worst thing of all that has happened in the college, we had to fill online application for a fee of ?500 and the eligibility to join for any course was to pass 12th exams.
