Institute of Hotel Management Catering and Nutrition, Shimla is a government institute under the aegis of the NCHMCT and IGNOU, New Delhi. The institute is located on the NH-22 about 16 km from the Shimla bus stand on the way to Theog.

At present, IHM Shimla offers B.Sc in Hospitality & Hotel Administration and Diploma in Food Production and Food & Beverage Service.

A pass in 10+2 with English as a compulsory subject is required to apply for both the courses.
Admission to B.Sc is done through a JEE conducted by NCHMCT.
For Diploma courses, selection is based on merit secured in the qualifying examination and PI.

IHM Shimla Diploma in Food Production Admission 2023

The institute offers a 1.5 years Diploma in Food Production to prepare the student for an exciting and profitable career in food production. The basic eligibility for admission to this course is a pass in 10+2 examination with English. Admission to this course is merit based.

Candidates can pay application fee through online mode using debit/ credit card, UPI, paytm or netbanking.

Fill the application form and attach all the required documents.
Click on “Click here to Pay Application Form Fee Online” for making online payment of application fee.
Fill all necessary details in the bank fee payment window, select the applied course, category, provide valid email id & mobile number and make payment.
After successful payment take a print out of fee receipt and sign it.
Candidates need to send the application form along with fee receipt to the Institute by post/by hand before the due date.
