Jangipur College UG Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for admission to UG courses offered by Jangipur College must fulfill the below-mentioned conditions.
- The candidate needs to have completed his class 12th examination in any stream or he/she must have completed any vocational scheme conducted by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education, or an equivalent exam conducted by any other recognized board of education, Rabindra Mukta Vidyalaya, or any distant learning school.
- Candidates need to have passed in at least 5 recognized subjects, one of which must be English.
- Candidates can apply for admission to Jangipur College admission for 3 consecutive academic sessions including the year in which they passed their 12th board examination.
- For candidates applying for an honours degree in any program, they must have a minimum of 45% in aggregate of the previous qualifying examination and a minimum of 55% marks in the subject they wish to study.
- Candidates belonging to the scheduled caste and scheduled tribe communities are provided with a 5% relaxation in eligibility criteria.
