Shall have passed two years Pre University examination conducted by Department of Pre University Education, Karnataka State, with English as one of the subject and Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects. The candidate shall have passed subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology individually and must have obtained a minimum of not less than 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the qualifying examination. In respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Schedule Tribes or other Backward Classes, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in qualifying examination be 40% above.
