The students who want to take admission in this college have to register themselves for any of the accepted entrance exams for a course. The details regarding the admission process of different courses are listed below: 

• Admission to the B.E./ B.Tech program depends on the score of the candidate in exams like JEE Mains/ KCET/ COMED- K/ KRLM/ AIET. The candidate should have a minimum 45% marks in 10+2 examination with Physics, Mathematics and any one of the following subjects- Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Electronics, Computer Science. Candidates who hold a Diploma in Engineering can also apply for lateral entry in 2nd year.
• RRCE offers M.Tech degrees in two different specializations. To take admission into the M.Tech programs, candidates will have to possess a valid score in the PGCET examination and take part in the counseling process conducted by VTU. The minimum eligibility to apply is having at least 50% aggregate marks in Engineering.
• The institute also offers an MBA program. Interested candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks. A valid score in GMAT/ PGCET is essential to participate in the admission process.
• To take admission in the MCA program candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks in Bachelor’s degree with any one of the following subjects as optional or elective: Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Computer Programming, Computer Application, Business Mathematics or Business statistics. Candidates must hold a valid score in Karnataka PGCET/ GMAT to be eligible for the admission process.
