Course Information
Course Description
IMS DAVV Indore, established in 1969, offers a five-year full-time BBA+MBA degree across two specializations, such as Hospital Administration and E-Commerce. Admission to its BBA+MBA degree in IMS DAVV is offered on the basis of the candidate's performance in the CUET-UG examination, conducted by the NTA. Both the BBA+MBA courses have 60 seats each.
To be eligible for admission into these 120 seats, the candidates must have completed their 10+2 examination with 50% marks in aggregate. For BBA+MBA (Hospital Administration), the candidates should have completed 10+2 in Biology. The fee for BBA+MBA is INR 2,95,055 for boys and INR 2,94,165 for girls, for the 5-year program.
IMS DAVV BBA+MBA Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates seeking admission into the BBA+MBA course must have to complete their 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks as an aggregate.
- For BBA+MBA (Hospital Administration), the candidates should have completed 10+2 in Biology.
IMS DAVV BBA+MBA Admission Guidelines
- Admissions into the BBA+MBA program will be on the basis of the CUET-UG examination, conducted by NTA.
- The candidates will have to appear for an English test paper and a general test paper for Integrated MBA.
- The CUET-UG 2023 is expected to be conducted from May 21, 2023, to May 31, 2023.
How to Apply?
The candidates will have to visit the CUET Official website to apply for the BBA+MBA program. The application process would include the following steps:
- The candidates will have to register themselves and get their system-generated Application Number and password.
- Then they can log in and fill out the application form with all the personal and academic details.
- The candidates will also have to upload all the required documents.
- They will have to choose Devi Ahilya Vishwacidyalaya and BBA+MBA in the college and course preference section.
- Based on the eligibility criteria, the candidates will have to choose the paper to attempt in CUET-UG. For the BBA+MBA course, the candidates will have to select English and General test.
- After completing the application form, they will have to pay the application fees.

When you look at Tier 3 cities, you should not expect good placements as compared to those you might bag in metro cities. The same is true for IMS Indore as well. It could be the best college in Madhya Pradesh, but the MBA program offered by the college is clearly not as enriching as that offered in a metro city. This will eventually affect placements which will cause them to be poorer.
From what most of us have observed, not all students will get placed. Only about 50% of the total students will possibly land a job with the highest salary offered at INR 6.5 lakhs per annum. The lowest salary offered is INR 3.5 lakhs per annum.
None the less, there are quite a few placement services offered by the college. These include summer placement and training that are offered on a regular basis. They also have strong linkages with the industry and many public organizations.
Some of the recruiters at the college include ITC, Nestle, Aditya Birla, Johnson & Johnson, Asian Paints and Deloitte. Another helpful point that could possibly interest you is the collaboration for MBA in Hospital Administration that the college has with Tulane University in the US.
As a suggestion, you should look for colleges in Maharashtra for an MBA as that will definitely help you seek better opportunities than IMS Indore.
Almost all students who are serious about their job get placed at IMS DAVV. Placement records of sales and marketing fields are amazing when compared to the finance or HR field at the Indian Institute of Management studies DAVV. The domestic package offered might range from 3.5 to 6.5 LPA. One thing worth mentioning is that you are competing with IIPS students along with your batchmates at IMS as there will be common placement sessions for both campuses most of the time.

Having friends in both colleges, in my opinion, ISBS Pune is much better than IIM Indore. Let me share some details, as to why I feel this way.
- First of all, location-wise, Pune is a really good location as compared to Indore when it comes to looking for jobs as well as lifestyle.
- The course curriculum and the faculties are really good at ISBS.
- If you are looking for a really good student crowd, you will find that at ISBS and even IIMP Pune.
- There are a number of advantages you will get to explore if you join ISBS.
- The college has an educational foreign trip to Singapore and also provides laptops to students.
- There are also a number of international and national seminars you can attend.
- You will also be able to gain a lot of certifications and go for industry visits.
- You will also have placement training for GDPI.

- Academics at the institute are average at best. The faculties are good but they have a lack of enthusiasm in teaching.
- The placement at IMS Indore is very good. It is one of the best colleges in Central India.
- This college will give ample industry exposure and will help you in developing your skills through their events. There are various types of events organized in the college.
