Here we are providing some basic details of the course:

General MBA, further offers 3 specializations viz Finance, Marketing and HR. 

Apart from it, MBA is offered in 6 more specializations among which candidates can select any according to their interest. The table below shows all the specializations along with the seat intake and fees.

IMS, DAVV MBA Eligibility

It is necessary for applicants to meet the following eligibility in order to apply for the desired programme. 

Eligibility for General MBA and other MBA programmes

• Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PH candidates of Madhya Pradesh only).
• Those who are in the final year of their Graduation can also apply.
• The upper age limit for male candidates is 28 years on July 1. Relaxation of 3 years in upper age limit is provided to SC/ST/OBC candidates.
• For candidates belonging to Physically Challenged category, the upper limit is 35 years.

NOTE - For General MBA, students must possess a valid CMAT scorecard.

Eligibility for Hospital Management

• To apply for this MBA programme, applicants must have a MBBS, BDS, B.Sc (Nursing), B.Pharm, BBA (HA) or other medical degree equivalent to MBBS and one year internship from a recognized university with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PH candidates of MP only).
• Final year candidates are also eligible.
• There is no age limit.

IMS, DAVV MBA Selection Criteria

The selection criteria differs for General MBA and other MBA programmes. One can check the complete criteria below.

Selection Criteria for General MBA

• Candidates have to take part in the DTE counselling process conducted by the Government of Madhya Pradesh. 
• After registration and submission of CMAT scores at the counselling website, a merit list will be released depending upon the score obtained by candidates.
• This list will contain names of students who have to be present for the counselling round. 
• Such applicants have to visit the Reporting centre where they will go through the document verification and choice filling process. 
• If students are allotted a seat as per the choices filled during any of the counselling rounds then they need to submit the documents online at the DTE counselling website.
• Further, they have to pay a part of course fees to confirm the seat.
• While the remaining course fee will be paid when reporting to the institute, completing the final stage of the admission process. 
• Lastly, applicants need to report at the Institute of Management, Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya in order to complete the admission process 

Selection Criteria for other MBA Programmes

• For all other MBA programmes, the university will conduct entrance test.
• Those who obtain a merit in this test are selected for admission.
• Therefore, the final selection for MBA in Financial Administration, Human Resource, Marketing Management, Disaster Management, Hospital Management and E-Commerce solely depends upon the merit in the entrance test.

IMS, DAVV Integrated MBA Eligibility

The minimum requirement for both specializations is mentioned below:

Eligibility for Integrated MBA in E-Commerce

• Candidates must have qualified Graduation with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PH candidates of MP).
• Final-year candidates can also apply.
• The upper age limit for male candidates is 28 years. A relaxation of 3 years is given to SC/ST/OBC candidates.
• Physically challenged candidates have a maximum age limit of 35 years for admission into the program.

Eligibility for Integrated MBA in Hospital Management

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Biology and have obtained a minimum score of 50% (45% for SC/ST candidates of MP).
• Those who have appeared for 10+2 exams are also eligible.

IMS, DAVV Integrated MBA Selection Criteria

• The candidates are selected into the Integrated program based on their scores in the CUET-PG.
• Candidates who secure merit in the test are selected for admission.

One must possess the following eligibility to apply for Executive MBA:

• Candidates must have a Graduate or Postgraduate degree with minimum 45% marks from a recognized university.
• Also, they must have managerial/executive experience of at least 2 years after Post Graduation and 5 years after Graduation in Industry/Government sector.

• IMS, DAVV grant admission to seekers on the basis of First Come First Serve.
• If more than 120 applicants apply then the institute will conduct an admission test.
