Interested candidates can avail the Financial Assistance schemes for pursuing different courses at Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Management and Information Technology (SGTBIMIT) . Details of scholarships schemes are listed below:

  1. Merit-cum-Means Linked Financial Assistance Scheme For Pursuing Higher Education in State Universities of Delhi

The student should have been enrolled for undergraduate programme in any of the Delhi State Public Universities or colleges institutes affiliated to Delhi State Public Universities. Also, the student should fulfill the income/ economic and academic performance criteria as specified for each category mentioned below:

Note: A relaxation of 5% in qualifying aggregate percentage of marks will be allowed to SC/ST Category students.

  1. Merit Scholarship to SC/ST/OBC/Minority students studying in recognized Colleges/ Professional/ Technical institutions by Government of NCT of Delhi.

Eligibility:

  • The students should not have less than 60% marks in the previous academic year
  • Family Income is not applicable in the case of SC/ST students.
  • For OBC students, family income is not more than 3 lakh per annum.

  1. Financial Assistance to the students under the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) Scheme by GGSIPU.

Eligibility: NFS Card with 6th month statement proof. OR Family income certificate under INR 2.50 Lakh per. annum.

Note

  • The student should be a regular student of the University.
  • The student who has the status of failure in any of the subject in any semester is not eligible.
  • Management Quota students are not eligible for the EWS scholarship.
  1. Post Matric Scholarships Scheme for Minorities 2018-19 by the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India.

Students must meet the following Eligibility criteria to avail the Post Matric Scholarships Scheme for Minorities:

  • The student must have secured at least 50% marks or equivalent grades in previous examination.
  • Family income should not be more than INR 2 Lakh pa.
  1. Post Martic Scholarship for SC/ST

Students must meet the following Eligibility criteria to avail the Post Martic Scholarship for SC/ST:

  • Income certificate, Family income should not be more than INR 2.5 Lakh pa.
  • Regular attendance record not less than 75 % in the previous year.
  • The student who has the status of failure in any of the subject in any semester is not eligible.
  1. Post Matric Scholarship for OBC Students

Students must meet the following Eligibility criteria to avail the Post Matric Scholarship for OBC Students:

  • Family income should not be more than INR 2.5 Lakh pa
  • Regular attendance record not less than 75 % in the previous year.
