Aspirants seeking admission to 2-year Full-time M.Sc. program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.

• ?Candidate should have passed the qualification of B.Sc., Nursing Degree of Tamilnadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University or any other University accepted as equivalent thereto.
• Candidate should have registered with the State Nurses and Midwives Council.
• Candidate should have two years of experience in a teaching hospital or in a College (or) in a school of Nursing (or) in a Community Health Programme. Out of the two years experience, at least a minimum of six months should have been in the field of specialty chosen.
• In the case of male candidates, they should have passed any other course recommended by the Indian Nursing Council in place of Midwifery.
• Every candidate before admission to this program shall submit to the Principal of the Institution a Certificate of Medical Fitness from an authorized Medical Officer that the candidate is physically fit to undergo the academic program and does not suffer from any disability or contagious diseases.
