Aspirants seeking admission to 4-year Full-time B.Sc(Nursing) Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.
Academic Requirement:
- Only Female Candidates are eligible.
- Candidates belonging to all categories for admission to the B.Sc., Degree course in Nursing (BASIC) should have passed the qualifying examination (Academic Stream) after a period of 12 years of study with the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Botany and Zoology.
- Every candidate before admission to the course shall submit to the Principal of the institution a certificate of medical fitness from an authorized medical officer that the candidate is physically fit to undergo the academic course.
- The minimum education requirements shall be passing of
- Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (12 Years Course)
OR
- Senior School Certificate Examination (10+2)
OR
- Pre-degree Examinations (10+2)
OR
- An equivalent with 12 years schooling from a recognized Board or University with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and English with Minimum 40% aggregate marks (PCBE)
- Individual Pass in Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Botany and Zoology (both Theory and Practical) and English with a minimum of 40% marks in each of above subject and with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.
- As recommended by the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi the Eligibility Criteria for admission to B.Sc.(N), G.N.M. by giving 5% relaxation to SC/ST/OBC Students (40%)
- For SC/ST candidates – the minimum percentage of marks is 35%.
Age Limit:
Candidate should have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or would complete the said age on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the first-year Nursing course.
