Master's degree in Physics, Electronics or Photonics, or B.Tech./B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Electrical and Electronics Engineering, with at least 50% or equivalent CGPA from a recognized university or institution; a valid GATE score in the concerned branch. GATE Instrumentation candidates may be considered if sufficient concerned-branch GATE candidates are unavailable, and DAT may be used if sufficient GATE holders are unavailable.
