Eligibility Criteria

Pass in 10+2 with 60% aggregate of marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and with not less than 55% individually in each of these three subjects.
Candidates, whose date of birth falls on or after July 1, 1999.

70% seats through AEE and 30% through JEE Mains
Apply online and Register for Amrita Entrance Examination – Engineering / Choose the JEE Mains option.
AEE is conducted in two modes: Computer Based Test (CBT) and Pen & Paper Test (PPT).
Syllabus for AEE consists of three sections Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The questions are based on the syllabus in Class 11th & Class 12th.
Preparation material for AEE is provided on the official site of the university.
The paper consists of 100 questions, 30 each from Physics and Chemistry, 40 from Mathematics.
Date and Time slot booking for CBT is done online on the university site
PPT is conducted on one slot only and applicants shall choose their two preferred city choices for the exam centre.
Submit your academic preference (campus + branch) prior to the registration for Seat Allotment.
Register online for Seat Allotment after the publication of results.

Amrita offers PhD courses in 4 major disciplines based on the candidate’s area of work. Eligible candidates shall be provided a variety of research and teaching assistant scholarships. How to apply for Amrita School of Engineering?

Application submission is online and shall be submitted via the website amrita.edu/btech
Click on “Apply Now” option and fill the registration form and upload the necessary documents
One candidate shall submit only one application form. Multiple applications will be rejected.
The application fee may be paid either by credit/debit card or net banking. Any other mode is not accepted for online application.

Amrita School of Engineering Scholarship

The institute offers scholarship under 3 criteria – merit, socially backward communities and special disadvantaged groups. The scholarship schemes include tuition/fee waiver (partial or full), stipends to cover living expenses and/or health benefits expenses, etc. The amounts depend on the scheme, the academic program, location, etc.

The students should contact the departmental office and submit an application in the appropriate form. The department will provide the list of scholarship schemes available.

The office of the registrar will review all scholarship applications. Institutional scholarships will follow the three criteria mentioned above.

Ans. The campus is located in south Bengaluru on a road connecting Sarjapur Road and Hosur Road and is about 2 kilometers from Kaikondrahalli bus stop on Sarjapur Road and 17 km away from the railway station.

Ques. Is accommodation provided to the students?

Ans. Yes, hostels are provided to the students.

The bestest review of all the time

What I Liked

I've liked the availability of the staff here and their immediate response to the students who reach of to them
Limited intake and high standard teaching skills
Canteen...food is like ok ok here...canteen is one of the best resource to have food

What I didn’t like

All the staff aren't really experienced could've had faculty who has more experience
Campus infra could be much better than what we have here now
Hostel could be much better with more facilities like air conditioner

Remarks:

Actually I've got scholerhip seats in other universities too but Ive heard that this is the top most university in India right now so I decided to free reject the other universities for this university. I got seat in Vellore institute of technology, JNTUH,Dayanada Sagar University, and few more through TSEAMCET and EAPCET. cutoffs for this university is not specific. it might change over years and it is also based on many criteria cant really tell the exact cutoffs each year
