Bachelor of Fine Arts course is offered in various streams namely, Painting, Sculpture, Metal work, Ceramics, Textile Design and Interior Decoration. BFA is a four year, full-time course. The students have to clear the exam MH-AAC-CET to be able to secure a seat for BFA course.

The basic eligibility to apply for undergraduate courses is higher secondary pass (10+2) from a recognized board or university. Students with Arts background have an added advantage, however, science and commerce students are also welcome.

Key Points for BFA Admission:

• Students will be granted admission based on counselling after announcement of MH-AAC-CET result.
• A total of 60 seats are reserved for BFA course.

Those who wish to get admission in Master of Arts course in this institute must have cleared BFA from any recognized university of India. Generally, MFA is done in the same subject as BFA.

The institute offers MFA in 9 streams, namely- Painting in Portrait, Painting in Creative Painting, Sculpture, Painting in Graphic (Printmaking), Painting in Mural, Interior Decoration, Textile Design, Metalwork and Ceramic. For this PG course, no specific entrance test is needed. The duration of MFA course is two years.

Key Points for MFA Admission:

• Students can get admission based on their BFA result.
• The subject of specialization in BFA needs to be chosen in MFA too. However, the student can opt for a different stream.
• A total of 45 seats are reserved for PG courses.

The institute offers a number of Diploma courses apart from regular degree UG and PG courses. The diploma courses can be pursued by anyone who wishes to hone his or her creative abilities.

At present, diploma courses are offered in 4 categories, namely- Diploma in Sculpture Modelling, Art Teacher Diploma, Diploma in Art Education and Art Master Certificate. The eligibility and selection criteria for each is discussed in the table below.

• Out of all these, only Art Master Certificate course is pursued part-time, rest all are on a full-time basis.
• A total of 90 seats are reserved for Diploma courses.
