VIT offers four-year B.Tech courses under 5 specializations. Higher Secondary (10+2) qualified candidates can apply for admission.

Admissions to B.E courses will be made on the basis of the counseling as per the candidate’s rank in Karnataka CET/ COMED-K.

Specializations:

VIT B.Tech Eligibility Criteria:

• 10+2 examination qualified in Science Stream from a recognized board of Education.
• Physics and Mathematics should be mains subjects.
• Minimum 45% marks should be secured in the final examination.
• Students belonging to the SC/ST category must have 40% marks in the final examination.
• Applicants can also apply for admission to the direct the second year of the course (lateral entry admissions).
• Such candidates must hold a Diploma in any of the branches of Engineering from a recognized institution and have secured not less than 50% aggregate marks in the final year of the course.

Selection Criteria:

Admission to the course will be based on the performance in CET/COMED-K.

At the postgraduate level, Vemana Institute of Technology offers two- year M.Tech program under 3 specializations. Candidates with Graduation Degree in the relevant subjects will be eligible for admission to the course.

Selection to the course will be based on the marks secured in the Karnataka Post Graduation Common Entrance Test (KPGCET). 

Specializations:

VIT Eligibility Criteria:

• B.Tech/B.E degree holder in the relevant subject from a recognized university or institute.
• Minimum 50% marks should be secured in the qualifying examination.
• Students appearing for the final examination can apply.

VIT Selection Criteria:

• Admission to the course will be based on the marks secured in KPGCET
• Candidates who have cleared GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) are exempted from the entrance test.
• The institute gives preference to the students who hold a domicile certificate of the state
