This is the best

What I Liked

Well disciplined and talented teachers and a variety of student clubs to encourage students to focus on entrepreneurship
Playground and other modern sports equipments provide exceptional facilities for sports activities
A large and beautiful college of 450 acres is the main highlight which helps in the bonding of students

What I didn’t like

Delay in exams and results is the main problem
No good lab facilities for computer students

Placement Experience:

As our college is the nearest to Trivandrum Technopark we get so many internship and placement offers from those companies in Technopark last year many students got placed in top companies, My plan after getting my degree is to start a company

Internships Opportunities:

TCS Technopark UST Infoys MRF these companies provide internship oppurtunities for the students of our college and these projects or tasks helps the students to improve their overall skill and develops them

UCEK Experiences

What I Liked

The faculty members are very talented and respectful and they provide good teaching facilities
The programmes, carnivals and fests which are conducted here are out of this world. Very vibrant and wonderful experiences acquired here
Many technical clubs and art clubs function here smoothly. The members of the club dedicate their time and effort for the success of the clubs
Even though anti ragging is strict in various colleges, ragging still occurs in most of the colleges. But here, ragging is strictly prohibited and strict actions are seen taken against ragging which is one of the best features of the college

What I didn’t like

The exams are not conducted in the right time in this university. The exams are always lagged and this causes many troubles for the students as well as the faculty
The syllabus is quite old and not up to date. It's high time for an upgrade for the syllabus
As it is a government controlled college, the infrastructure is quite old and of poor quality. The buildings and equipments definitely need a replacement
There used to be times when placement cell works really well and effective but ery few in campus placements take place nowadays

Placement Experience:

Our college provides campus placements from semester 7 onwards. But students are free to avail placements before that on their own risk. Many companies visit our college for campus placements like tvc, techno park, ust, tata, Infosys, Intel etc and these companies visit our college every year regularly. The average package given ranges from 2.5 to 3.5 LPA while the highest package ranges from 4.5 to 7.5 LPA. Around 90% of the students get placements either through campus placements or other placement methods. I plan to get into a good technological company after completing my degree.

Internships Opportunities:

There are many internship opportunities provided by our college. Campus placement internships and other internships are also available. Internships come from nearby companies like techno park, Infosys, tvc, tata etc. Many projects are being given to the students during the internship.
