College of Engineering Pathanapuram was established in the year 2011 by the Co-operative Academy of Professional Education (CAPE). The College is located at Elikkattoor in Kollam district of Kerala. The college is affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. The institution is recognized by AICTE.

College of Engineering Pathanapuram offers B.Tech and B.Tech Lateral Entry at the undergraduate level. The specializations includes Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication and Mechanical Engineering.

The college offers B.Tech and B.Tech Lateral Entry in five specialization. The intake capacity for B.Tech Programme is 60 seats for each of the specializations.

For B.Tech, admission is made as per the rank obtained by eligible candidates in the state-level Common Entrance Exam conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE), Kerala State. The aspirants who fail to meet the eligibility criteria will be eliminated from the admission process.

Admission in B.Tech Lateral is done on the basis of marks scored in an entrance test titled B.Tech Lateral Entry Entrance Examination (LET) conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Kerala.

Key points for Admission:

60% of the seats in the College will be allotted by the CEE as per the reservation policy of the Government.
35% of seats under Management quota are also allotted by the CEE on merit basis.
5% of the seats are reserved for N.R.I. candidates.
SC/ST candidates need only a pass in the qualifying examination for admission to B.Tech course.

KEAM Application Process

The applicant must purchase Security Key Card and information brochure through the designated Post Offices assigned by the CEE board.
Candidate are then required to apply for KEAM by logging on to the Kerala CEE website
The applicant should select the course/courses which he/she desires to study while applying online.
Copy of the printout of the complete application form must be retained for future reference.
A copy of the printout of the application form should be sent to CEE board on or before the last date.

The minimum qualification for this course is a +2 degree and one should be qualified in the entrance exam conducted by CEE.the name of the exam is keam. based on the rank list the admission process is done by three phases of allotment. Fee reduction for sc/st students is available.
