Bhubaneswar College of Engineering (BCE) is a private engineering college located in Khurda district of Odisha. The college is affiliated with Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT) and approved by AICTE, New Delhi

Admission

Admissions are done on the basis of rank of students in Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) /JEE examinations.

Eligibility Criterion

Passed 10+2 examination of CHSE, Odisha or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the subjects from Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Electronics / Computer Science / Information Technology / Geology / Statistics. The candidate must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST category) in the above subjects taken together.

Facilities: BCE provides following facilities to the students-

  • Library- BCE library has a rich collection of  books, periodicals, newspapers, manuscripts, films, maps, prints, documents, microform, CDs, cassettes, videotapes, DVDs, Blu-ray Discs, e-books, audiobooks, databases, and other formats for engineering students
  • Hostel- The institute has separate hostels for boys and girls. Both the hostels are well protected and have well-furnished dining and canteen with 24 hours water and power supply.
  • Laboratories have been designed, furnished and equipped with expertise.
  • Computer system has been provided and set up by Hewlet Packard and L2 MBPS lease line connectivity through optical fiber has been installed through BSNL
  • BCE provides transport facility for all students and staffs. BCE buses pick and drop students along major routes of Bhubaneswar city, Cuttack, Khurda, Balugaon, Ranapur and Nayagarh

Events: BCE organizes following extracurricular and curricular activities throughout the academic year-

  • BCESANSH- It is the annual cultural festival of the college
  • Robotics- It is the technical event organized by BCE students
