Teaching faculty is really good , teachers really love to interact with the students .
Scholarship like emedhabruti, post matric scholarship etc as well as they can get various private sector scholarship such as radhanath rath scholarship, tata pankh scholarship, lic scholarship etc...
The campus is very beautiful .the students are very friendly and the teachers also friendly.

Dislikes

The political chaos in the college is what makes most of the students uncomfortable. But as far as it is for the good , then no worries.
As a result u don't get any notification or notices in time . Lab facilities are average and lab materials are somehow damaged or not available so u don't get opportunity to enhance your lab skills.Politics is also reason for which reputation is down
College corridor is not clean so students face many problems

My BJB college Review

What I Liked

I really like the faculties and the teaching staffs they're so encouraging and friendly in nature which invites more students to study very nicely.
The infrastructure is good as per the government college.Very healthy and clean environment to study and have a really positive energy.
Very quite place you can even study nicely and get entertained in the same amount.
People here are so nice and friendly and are very welcoming. You'll feel a very strong bond with them.

What I didn’t like

Here some office staffs never listened the problems of students related to studies instead they'll blame you that you're responsible for it.
Politics is at the top.Here mostly rich kids try to outshine themselves and typical type of bully.
Literally the students can fight at anywhere regardless of the rules and regulations and nobody do care.

Course Curriculum Overview:

They teach really good strategies and good knowledge about cracking in college life and even in real life. We're never bounded only to the bookish knowledge even though we explore a really different world other than that it's prepares us for many government jobs and give us tips on cracking exams like IIT JAM,GATE etc.

Remarks:

Like this college cut off goes really high the general obc cut offs go like 90+% and the sc ones goes like 80-85% and the st one is 75-80% in the first phase. This college can be applied by the sams odisha website. There are many government colleges to apply and even sams odisha provides all the details for the admission and all. The form filling up fees for GENERAL AND OBC are 275rs and for the Sc and St it is like 150-200rs

What is BJB College like for a B.Com?

One of my friends will be graduated from this institute in April, and thus, I can share his experience.

If you are confused after completing 12th standard board exam and cannot decide where to take admission, then BJB might be the right choice.

Faculty

Professors are knowledgeable enough, and most of them have student-friendly attitudes.
Most of the teachers here are old, so they really do not care if they leave their classes; thus, strictness is completely nil in this institute.
HOD from the Commerce Department is very serious and a little strict for his students.

Attendance

My friend only did regular classes in the first semester, and after that, he can count how many classes he had done in both hands.
Teachers are experienced enough, but they are slow, and most of them call out the notes from the books.
Attendance is not a big issue for BJB students, and for that reason, the number of students gradually decreases from the first semester onwards.

College atmosphere and the seniors

Seniors are really friendly, but the juniors’ students should make friends with them.
Campus life is enjoyable, with not strictness for attendance; hence, the student can make good memories.

Besides, some other things are listed below:

Cut-off marks for BJB entrance are high, so the student needs to de serious about their board exams first.
Exam schedules are sometimes uncertain and normally proclaim 2-3 weeks earlier to the exam.
Ragging is very rare in this institute.
Getting scored is not so difficult here, and students can easily score 85-88% because BJB is quite liberal than the Utkal University. But the students have to write a lot in the exam paper, which is the only trick to score a lot.
This college does not provide any good job opportunities and internships also.
There are no fests or any extra facilities in this institute.

If you love to lead irregular and unsystematic college life and wants to make other preparation, you can choose BJB. This institute has its identity to the entire state, and it has the best grades for studying Commerce.

If you have to choose between colleges in BBSR and will get a seat in this institute, it will certainly be an excellent opportunity for you. You have to study on your own, which is actually needed to earn a good score.
