Faculty of Law, Jamia Millia Islamia is situated in the capital of India, Delhi. It was established in the year 1989.
Faculty of Law offers BA LLB, LLM and PG Diploma courses to the candidates. The institute also offers Ph.D. / M.Phil (Law) program.
- Eligibility for applying to BA LLB program is passed in 10+2 examination with minimum 50% marks.
- Admission to BA LLB program is done on the basis of JMI BA LLB.
- For admission into LLM program, candidates need to secure a minimum of 50% marks in LLB program.
- Eligibility for the PG Diploma course is passed in any Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks.
- Admission to LLM and PG Diploma is done through an entrance examination conducted by the university followed by personal interview.
- To become eligible for interview, candidates need to attain 30% or more marks in the descriptive section of the Entrance Test, wherever applicable.
- For Ph.D./M.Phil, a candidate must pass in Master’s degree with minimum 55% marks from recognized university.
- Admission to Ph.D. is done on the basis of entrance examination followed by personal interview.
