Eligibility

Candidates must have a 3 Year Bachelor's Degree with Mathematics as a subject either in 10+2 or graduation level and min 50% in the qualifying degree examination (45% for reserved category candidates).

Selection Criteria

Selection will be determined by the TANCET scores followed by TANCA Counselling conducted by Anna University.

Admission Process

Students have to apply for TANCET. The step wise process and documents list has been given below:

Application Process:

• Register for the TANCET exam online on the official website.
• After successful registration log-in, and fill the application form by providing personal, academic, and qualification details.
• Upload a scanned copy of the photograph with the required specifications.
• Pay the application fee of INR 600 for the general category and INR 300 for reserved category through net banking/debit card/credit card and submit.
• After submitting the application, take a print out of the application form for future reference.

Documents required

• Class 10th, 12th, and Graduation Mark sheet.
• Caste Certificate if applicable
• Birth Certificate and Govt. ID Proofs.
• Passport Size Photograph of size not more than 30 KB in JPG/JPEG format.

TANCA Application Process

Admission to these above given courses are offered through TANCA. The counseling dates vary for every course. Read on to find more details of the counseling.

• Candidates have to register through online mode at the Web portal.
• They must enter an active mobile number and email ID.
• Enter relevant personal and educational details 
• Choose the save/submit button.
• Preview the forms and make changes, if required.
• Finally, click submit and save button to make an online fee payment.

Documents Required

Candidates have to upload scanned images of the following given documents while registering for TANCA counseling: 

• Mark sheets of X, XII or Diploma (3 years) Certificate
• Qualifying Degree certificate, provisional certificate and mark sheets of all semesters or Consolidated mark sheet. 
• Transfer certificate from the institution last studied
• Valid GATE score card and TANCET hall ticket for GATE qualified category
• Certificate of Disability
• Nativity Certificate only in electronic form / digitally signed e-Certificate. (if applicable)
• Copy of identification certificate obtained from the Head Quarters Tahsildar or Visa, Passport and letter registered in Police Station (For Srilankan Refugee candidates)
• Experience Certificate (if applicable)
