Chaudhary Ishwar Singh Mahila Shikshan Mahavidyalaya (CISMS), Kaithal, Haryana was originally established as Kanya Mahavidyayalaya in Fatehpur Pundri by Chaudhary Iswar Singh as he felt a lack of educational facilities for women in the Rural area of Pundri in Kaithal District Haryana. This institution was later as Chaudhary Ishwar Singh Mahila Shikshan Mahavidyalaya when it was approved by NCTE as a College of Education imparting One Year B Ed Degree course. The college is affiliated to Kurukshetra University. Admissions are given to any student with 50% marks in any Bachelors Degree. The process is as per the process prescribed by Kurukshetra University. The College campus has both academic and extra-curricular facilities for a complete development of the character and knowledge of its students. The college has well-equipped laboratories as well as sports and recreational facilities. There is a hostel for students who do not live near the college.
