JD Women's College, Patna, Bihar,  was established in 1971 to foster the cause of education for women in the state of Bihar. The institution has a commanding presence both in the University as well as in the capital of the state. The college while maintaining its exemplary record in University examinations has also emerged as a serious contender in inter University competitions winning large number of prizes. The institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), accreditated by NAAC wih “B” grade and affiliated to JNTU.The college is imparting teaching up to Degree Honors stage in Science and Post-Graduation stage in Arts.
