Ques

Is IMS Noida good for a BBA program?

● Top Answer By Santosh Singh on 15 Mar 23

Ans
IMS Noida may not be the ideal choice for pursuing a BBA program, as it is affiliated with CCS University, Meerut whose degree is not highly valued in the market. Additionally, the faculty at IMS Noida is not up to the mark as many of them are not even NET-qualified, and the student crowd is not competitive enough. Since your investment in terms of money, time, and effort is significant, it would be advisable to consider alternatives like IP University or Delhi University for pursuing a BBA program. Alternatively, if you come from a commerce background and wish to pursue a career in management, B.Com (Hons) is also a good option to consider. IMS Noida has a placement record of around 50% for its BBA program, with companies like Wipro and Air India being the major recruiters. However, the roles offered are generally limited to Managers, HR, Sales Executives, and so on.

Ques

Which college should I choose for BBA among IITM Janakpuri and IMS Noida?

● Top Answer By Swati Ghose on 08 Sept 21

Ans
For a BBA course, the college you choose would not matter a lot unless it offers decent on-campus placement opportunities. My cousin has pursued a course in BBA and as per his experience, he considers it to be a highly professional course. If you perform well throughout the course then you can for sure get recruited at a reputable firm after completion.  You have to put in the required efforts by yourself. If you are considering doing an MBA then good performance during your BBA will be helpful in the future.  Now coming to the colleges that you have mentioned in your question, I would recommend that you opt for a BBA program at IMS, Noida. I have a few friends from the institute and according to them, the BBA course is quite great. In the 2020 placements, the highest CTC offered by the institute was 12 LPA.  You can search about several other colleges that are situated in New Delhi or the NCR region. You can take a look at IP University, IMS Ghaziabad, and more such institutes to make sure that you go for the college that would prove to beneficial for your career.

How good is IMS Noida for studying BCA?

● Top Answer By Santosh Singh on 15 Mar 23

Ans
IMS Noida has been providing education in various fields, including BCA for over two decades. However, recent reviews of the college suggest that there are some concerns that need to be addressed before you decide to enroll. One of the main concerns that has been raised is the poor infrastructure of the college. Many students have reported that the facilities provided by the college are not up to the mark. Moreover, the high fees charged by the college are not justified by the facilities and quality of education provided. Therefore, if you are looking for a college with state-of-the-art facilities, IMS Noida might not be the right choice for you. Another issue that has been raised is the quality of faculty. Some students have reported that the college has lost its good faculty members, and the current faculty is not up to the mark. This can affect the quality of education that you receive, and may impact your career prospects. It is important to note that quality of education is a key factor to consider before choosing a college. If you opt for IMS Noida, you should be prepared for a mediocre quality of education, which may impact your future career prospects. Therefore, it is advisable to do thorough research about the college before enrolling for BCA. You may also consider alternative options like Amity University or Christ University, which are known for their quality of education and have a good reputation in the industry. Additionally, you may also consider online courses or other alternatives to traditional college education, depending on your career goals and preferences.

Ques

How is IMS Noida for the PGDM course?

● Top Answer By Prerna Hegde on 15 Mar 23

Ans
IMS Noida is an average college for the PGDM course, but there might be better options out there for you, depending on your percentile and area of interest. Before choosing a college, check your preferred job profile (sales, HR, finance, core finance) and pursue colleges accordingly. Avoid running behind the package or 100% placement assurance as the job profile's sustainability matters more in the long run. Check the LinkedIn profiles of alumni to get an idea of the job profile and its in-hand salary. It is crucial to be cautious of brand names too, as you may not enjoy the brand as an employee. For instance, getting placed in a reputed bank may seem like a great opportunity, but the job profile may entail selling banking products like mutual funds, insurance, or corporate credit sales. Hence, checking the job profile of placed students can give you an insight into the work you might have to do after graduation. In conclusion, before making a decision, research and analyze your options based on your interests, future goals, and job profiles to ensure a sustainable and secure future

How is IMS Noida for a BBA?

● Top Answer By Devendra Tripathi on 14 Jun 21

Ans
A friend of mine from school is completing his BBA from IMS Noida and his experience so far has been pleasant. According to him, it is also a good institute for pursuing BBA. Pros Great faculty: The faculty in charge of the BBA course deserves a lot of praise. The members have a lot of knowledge pertaining to their fields. They are supportive as well as friendly. Good management: The efficiency in management helps the student with a proper scalar chain. Value-added courses: These courses include classes and certification from British Council, which have integrated with external lecturers for providing additional courses in the first year with an additional fee like Phomegap, .Net, Python. Guest lecturers: Popular industry experts regularly visit the campus as guests to give lectures and share their experiences. Extra-curricular activities: The institute has a creative club for its students. It also holds competitions in short skills. No ragging: My friend has never experienced ragging neither directly nor indirectly. As a matter of fact, he has a great rapport with a number of seniors. In addition to these, the location of the college is Sec 62, Noida. It is the corporate hub of Noida. The area has two other good institutes, Jaypee Institute of Technology and Engineering and MGM College of Engineering. Cons: Infrastructure: The size of the campus is not up to the mark. The classes are not air-conditioned and there is no proper canteen. Less exposure to Sports: Sports enthusiasts will be disappointed as the campus does not have a proper ground for basketball, football, cricket, badminton, etc. It only has a court for volleyball. Students get opportunities to participate in sporting events but exposure is not much. Apart from these cons, the institute does not directly involve itself much in the fests. The attendance would be marked but the college rarely sponsors the students.

Ques

Which is better for a BCA, IMS Noida or Amity Noida?

● Top Answer By Anirban Dutta on 31 Jul 21

Ans
Both IMS Noida and Amity Noida are two good colleges for pursuing BCA programs. As per many students, college does not matter much but the potential and knowledge do. One of my friends had studied from Amity and highly recommended it for pursuing a BCA program. Here are some of the supporting facts : Amity has a brand name and ranks at the top among the various private institutions of India. Amity has one of the best faculties with vast expertise in all of their domains. There is a great need for practical knowledge for pursuing BCA and for that, Amity has great computer labs and it emphasizes much on practical classes. The campus has one of the finest infrastructures. There is great student diversity. Students from all over the country from varied backgrounds come here. The students will enhance their communication skills. The college has a great library. Categories BCA at Amity University Noida Course Fee 6.36 lakh Highest CTC 16 LPA Average CTC 5 LPA Recruiting Companies TCS, Google, Microsoft, Infosys, etc. The only disadvantage is that the college takes hefty fees and it is very strict about its attendance policy. If this is not one's concern, then Amity would be a great option.
