EMPI Business School is a private college, offering 2-year PGDM as its flagship course under 5 specializations. Admission to PGDM is based on entrance exams such as CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT/ATMA/GMAT followed by GD and PI rounds. The institute also considers candidates’ past academic achievements and work experience for final selection. EMPI Business School may even conduct its Psychometric Profile Testing to examine the candidate.

Apart from PGDM, EMPI Business School offers 1-year PGP course. Working Executives and Freshers with Aptitude can apply for admission in PGP. PGDM course is offered for a 2-years duration unders 5 specializations namely:

The minimum requirement for admission to PGDM course is mentioned as follows:

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline with 50% marks.
Candidates must have a valid score in CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT/GMAT/ATMA.
Those who are in the final year of their Graduation or equivalent are also eligible to apply. However, such candidates have to produce the proof of graduation before the year of joining.

Note: In case of PGDM in Research and Business Analytics, preference will be given to candidates with a Work Experience.

My cousin used to be a student of EMPI Business School and her experience had been a remarkable one. She was part of many teams and a number of different projects. Her team had to engage in interactions with different people and getting acquainted with how they worked. The management of the institute is excellent and the faculty lives up to its brand name. The alumni network is huge and it offers their support for enriching the experience of learning. The infrastructure of EMPI is amazing according to my cousin. The students are provided verified certification from IBM which is instrumental in bagging placements. Needless to say, the labs also have equipment from IBM. During my cousin’s tenure as a student of the institute, the cost of education was around 7.5 lakhs. If you compare it with other institutes, the fee for PGDM is much lower. The average package of EMPI is around 7-8 lakhs. The students also get to be a part of training which is led by industry professionals. The exhibitions conducted by the institute can provide huge exposure for the students from various industries.

An 80+ percentile in CAT would be sufficient for your acceptance here. EMPI Business School is one of the best MBA colleges in the Delhi NCR region. A friend of mine studying here was able to secure a summer internship in CDJ Law Journal. However, clearing your internal aptitude test would get you through it.
