AIMA has formed over 60 years ago and is a non-lobbying, not-for-profit organization, working closely with industry, Government, Academia and Students, to further the cause of the management profession in India.

Step 1: Fill up the information form the program manager will guide you through the admission process. Alternately, you can also fill up the online application form.
Step 2: Upload all the documents for verification.
Step 3: Candidates will be called for a Personal Interview round with AIMA panel members. Telephonic interviews are also possible.
Step 4: Make an online payment of your course fee via Net Transfer/ Debit/ Credit Card.
Step 5: Your admission will be confirmed and the student number issued after the approval of documents and the payment from the University.

Ques. Is the PGDM program equivalent to MBA?
Ans. Post Graduate Diploma in Management is approved by UGC since 1994. It is at par with MBA in terms of Course Design & Content. However, technically PGDM & MBA are two different programs, MBA is offered by a University and PGDM is offered by Non-University Institutes. It depends on Individual Universities to consider the PGDM equivalent to MBA. Like Aligarh Muslim University considers the AIMA-PGDM equivalent to MBA.
Ques. What are the advantages of joining the AIMA-CME program?
Ans. The following are the advantages of joining AIMA-CME programs:
- CME has more than 40 years of experience in management education; it was set up in 1976.
- AIMA-CME's PGDM and PGDITM programs are approved by UGC.
- Strong curriculum: Most industries interfaced because of AIMA's links with business and industry.
- Modular Structure: Certificates awarded after completion of each Module.

Ques. When is the interview for admission held at AIMA?
Ans. The admission interviews are generally begun from the month of April for the July session. For the Jan session, this process starts from September-October.
Ques. Is the fee refundable at AIMA?
Ans. Full Refund: In case of withdrawal of program by AIMA-CME or rejection of registration form (on account of non-fulfillment of eligibility criterion as per admission policy for the session) full fee will be refunded to the candidate at his/her mailing address within one month from the date of receipt of the registration form (OMR Form) in AIMA-CME.
Partial Refund: If an application for cancellation of admission is received in AIMA-CME before the dispatch of study material from AIMA-CME, the form processing charges (Rs 500 only) will be deducted from the fee. The balance fee will be refunded to the candidate at his/her mailing address within one month from the date of receipt of his/her application in AIMA-CME.
If an application for cancellation of admission is received in AIMA-CME after the dispatch of study material from AIMA-CME, the form processing charges and cost of study material (Rs. 4000 only) will be deducted from the fee. The balance fee will be refunded to the candidate at his/her mailing address within one month from the date of receipt of his/her application.
No Refund: Applications for cancellation of admission/refund of fee will not be considered after the commencement of PCPs.
Ques. Is it possible to do two specializations together in Module III of PGDM/ Module IV of PGDITM at AIMA?
Ans. Only one specialization is to opt at a time. However, students can apply for second/dual specialization immediately after completing the program. A student has to take one extra module of specialization (IIIrd module in case of PGDM & IV module in case of PGDITM) and a full Module fee will be applicable in such cases.
