Ques
Which college is best for management among Asia pacific-new Delhi, IMS, Ghaziabad, IBS, Gurgaon, and NDIM, New Delhi?

● Top Answer By Arshit Jain on 02 Mar 23

Ans
You should consider NDIM in New Delhi as the best option among the four colleges: Asia Pacific in New Delhi, IMS in Ghaziabad, and IBS in Gurgaon. Although all of these colleges offer similar academic programs and job placements, NDIM is known to be more cost-effective and highly sought after by organizations. The fee for the PGDM program at Asia Pacific is approximately 10.2 lakhs, whereas the fee for IMS is 10.3 lakhs, and for IBS Gurgaon is 11 Lakhs. On the other hand, NDIM's program fee is only 9.3 lakhs. Additionally, the industrial environment in New Delhi will provide you with numerous job opportunities and projects.

Ques
Which one is better: Asia Pacific Institute of Management, Delhi, or XIME, Kochi?

● Top Answer By Ankit Verma on 23 Jun 21

Ans
Both institutes fall into the B+ category. However, Xavier Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship (XIME), Kochi makes for a slightly better choice. The reasons for the same are given below. The brand “Xavier” is always better than any other college unless they are some other big private colleges or IIMs. XIME, Kochi was established recently. However, within only a few years, it has shown tremendous growth. Asia Pacific Institute of Management, Delhi is struck at the same level though it was established way back. Asia Pacific Institute of Management, Delhi is located in the Delhi NCR region which obviously has a location advantage over Kochi. However, the institute has shown less stellar growth than XIME, Kochi. XIME Kochi has better faculty than the Asia Pacific Institute of Management, Delhi. Also, it has better brand recognition among corporates pan India than Asia Pacific Institute of Management, Delhi. The placement stats are shown below for the year 2020. Institute Asia Pacific Institute of Management, Delhi XIME, Kochi Highest Salary INR 19.20 LPA INR 11 LPA Average Salary INR 8.23 LPA INR 6.79 LPA Major Recruiters ITC, Nestle, OYO Rooms, etc. Infosys, Deloitte, EY, HDFC Bank, etc. As XIME Kochi is being pushed by XIME Bangalore, you can expect better job profiles from the campus placements as well as greater stability. You can reach out to alumni of the institute for more salary, placements, and other details.

Ques
Which college should I prefer among Jaipuria Lucknow, NDIM, JIMS, Asia Pacific, IMS Jaypee Business School, IMS Ghaziabad, and ITM Navi Mumbai? I've got a call for GDPI.

● Top Answer By Sidhharth Jain on 21 Feb 23

Ans
Based on your education as an alumnus of JIMS Rohini (PGDM) and IMS (BBA), and your work experience of 7 years in the skill development sector for higher education in India, you are qualified to answer this question. It is important to note that the colleges you mentioned are considered to be 'Tier 4 & Tier 5' B-Schools, meaning they are below average in comparison to other B-Schools. The median package offered at these schools is typically around 3-4 LPA with faculty that may not be as competent as those at higher-ranked institutions. When comparing these institutes, you will find that they charge similar academic fees, but the placement opportunities and international placements they advertise may not always be attainable. Investing 7-8 LPA or more in an unstable job that pays less than half of the fees you paid for your education may not be a wise decision. Additionally, obtaining an MBA from these institutions is not only a financial investment but also an investment of your time and efforts. For a better return on investment, it is recommended to attempt the CAT exam and try to get into the IIMs or FMS, as opposed to institutions like JIMS Rohini, Jaipuria Institute of Management Noida, or Asia Pacific. In conclusion, it is not recommended to pursue an MBA from these colleges. A better option may be to invest the money into a fixed deposit or start your own business.
