HR College Admissions
For admission to any of the undergraduate programs, the candidates are shortlisted based on their performance in the last qualifying examination (Merit-based). For Add-on courses, the candidates must qualify the written entrance examination followed by Personal Interview and Group Discussion round conducted by the university.
Admission to M. Com is based on the candidates' performance in the last qualifying examination i.e. at graduation degree level.
Candidates seeking admission to the Ph.D. program are required to qualify UGC-NET/JRF/SET followed by Personal Interview round conducted at the university.
Besides above-mentioned examinations, marks obtained by the candidates in Ph.D. Entrance Test (PET) conducted by the university can also be considered for admission to Ph.D. Candidates who possess M. Phil need not appear in the entrance examination.

Ques. When are the exams conducted?
Ans. The college follows the semester system and has semester end exams in the month of October and March which is 75 marks each. The college conducts internal exams in the months of August and January, each semester of 25 marks. Nevertheless it makes great use of technology and has a series of online tests for each semester.
Ques. Does the college conduct International Programs?
Ans. International programs in HR College go on throughout the year. Students have a dozen of options to choose from. Some of the international programs are: 1. S P Jain School of global management. (Dubai and Singapore campus) 2. NYU Stern. 3. University of California Berkeley, etc. Students who are willing and have proper finance can apply for any of the programs. What is the disturbing format for BMS/BFM/BMM/BBI?
Ans. Format is divided into two components: Internal Assessment and Semester End Examinations carrying a weightage of 25% and 75% marks respectively. Internal Assessment marks are based on one class test and overall students conduct. The Duration of the Semester end examinations is 2.5 hrs.
Ques. Can you provide me some information about the festivals and clubs in the college?
Ans. There are many clubs for the students occurring through the year and many notable personalities are invited for the same. The main festivals/events include - 1) Bazaar 2) CHASE 3) Talent Parade, etc. The life in H.R College is not only on academics but also on co-curricular activities.
Ques. What is the passing criteria in an examination in any UG Course?
Ans. The learners to pass a course shall have to obtain a minimum of 40% marks in aggregate for each course where the course consists of Internal Assessment and Semester End Examination. The learners shall obtain a minimum of 40% marks (i.e. 10 out of 25) in the Internal Assessment and 40% marks in Semester End Examination (i.e. 30 Out of 75) separately, to pass the course and minimum of Grade E to pass a particular semester. A learner will be said to have passed the course if the learner passes the Internal Assessment and Semester End Examination together.
