Review of YCCE 24

What I Liked

Campus is very nice whole campus surrounded by greenary and having huge parking for students The greenery not only enhances the aesthetic appeal but also fosters a peaceful atmosphere conducive to learning and personal development.
New and latest Well structured and detailed course syllabus which get updated every year
Highly educated facilities mostly PhD holders or Mtech in education
As it is autonomous college there are many benefits of having autonomous college like they design course according to latest trends/technology

What I didn’t like

In campus there is lots of network issue
Students not allow to use lift facilities
College fees is too much high for middle class students

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is meticulously designed to impart in-depth knowledge and practical skills, aligned with industry requirements that makes me to choose this course as course get updated every year we learn latest syllabus, techstack and many more although there are lot of need of improvement in practicals and course also , they provide sufficient time for every course they take 1hr of lecture and 2 hr of lab practical

Among these, VIIT Pune is the best choice. It is the second campus of VIT Pune and well-reputed among the engineering colleges in Pune.

It has a good placement record. The average and highest CTC offered during VIIT Pune placement 2022 were INR 32 LPA and INR 6.5 LPA, respectively.

Which is better, YCCE, Nagpur or VIIT, Pune?

These two colleges are the most reputed and preferable engineering colleges in their location. The placement record of VIIT Pune is a little better than YCCE, Nagpur, and especially for Computer Engineering and Electronics and the Telecommunication Engineering department. VIIT and YCCE are accredited by the NBA.

Infrastructure:

VIIT Pune has better infrastructure as compared to YCCE Nagpur. There are digital classrooms and well-equipped laboratories with high-speed Wi-Fi connection and large playgrounds for outdoor games and a library which has 1000+ books and more than 100 journals.

Academics:

VIIT Pune has a more research-oriented course structure. They have a research journal called Viswakarma journal of engineering and research (VJER). Training and placement cells of both colleges are quite active and help students to get internships and placement in reputed companies and research institutes.

Courses offered:

YCCE Nagpur and VIIT Pune are offering graduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. in various engineering branches.

Admission process:

The admission process for various courses at VIIT and YCCE includes Entrance examinations and Personal interviews.

The entrance exam scores accepted by the institutes are as follows.

B.Tech- JEE-MAIN and MHT-CET with valid score
M.Tech- GATE score or JEST score

The total BTech course fee at VIIT Pune is 5.54 LPA whereas at YCCE it is 3.35 lakhs.

Last year a total of 1080 students have admitted to all branches of the engineering department at VIIT Pune and 1020 students took admission at YCCE Nagpur.

Placement:

VIIT, Pune- At VIIT Pune, there are more than 50 companies who are coming to hire deserving candidates through the placement process.

The average CTC offered is 6 lakhs while the highest salary goes up to 26-30 LPA.

Top recruiters at the institute are L & T InfoTech, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, HCL technology, Cognizant, Wipro, etc.

YCCE Nagpur-

The average CTC at the institute is 3.31 lakhs per annum.
Major recruiters at the institute are IBM, Microsoft, ONIDA, Amazon, Accenture, DELL, Cummins, etc.
