Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering BTech admission 2024 is done through the MHT CET exam. The tentative MHT CET dates 2024 have been announced. The online application form will be released in March 2024. The MHT CET 2024 exam is to be held from April 16 to May 2, 2024.
Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering MTech Admissions are based on the GATE 2024 score. The registration process for GATE is over and the admit card will be released on January 03 onwards. GATE 2024 will occur on 03, 04, and 10, 11 February 2024.

Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering offers four-year B.Tech in seven specializations. Admissions are on the basis of MHT-CET or JEE Main score card. Direct second year admissions in B.Tech are also offered in each specialization of engineering.

Centralized Admission Process

Candidates interested in taking admissions to any course need to follow the given steps to make an application:

All eligible should register at DTE website compulsorily, for admission against both CAP and ILA seats.
After online registration candidate should take printout of application form and appear for confirmation of application form and document verification by visiting any one of the designated Facilitation Centers (FC).
Thereafter, candidates must get acknowledgement from FC to participate in the remaining admission process as per the merit list published on the DTE, website.
Candidates are required to pay registration fees as given below through online mode (Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking).

YCCE: Where Your Journey Accelerates

Remarks:

I was eligible for admission as I had 85.5 percent in JEE Mains. I belong to the OPEN category. Through the CAP Round, the admission process became very easy. We had to apply online on the CAP website of Maharashtra. Application forms, fees, and details of reservation were all available there. The admission process is very efficient and robust. I am satisfied with the admission process and the seat alloted to me.

Among these, VIIT Pune is the best choice. It is the second campus of VIT Pune and well-reputed among the engineering colleges in Pune.

It has a good placement record. The average and highest CTC offered during VIIT Pune placement 2022 were INR 32 LPA and INR 6.5 LPA, respectively.

These two colleges are the most reputed and preferable engineering colleges in their location. The placement record of VIIT Pune is a little better than YCCE, Nagpur, and especially for Computer Engineering and Electronics and the Telecommunication Engineering department. VIIT and YCCE are accredited by the NBA.

Infrastructure:

VIIT Pune has better infrastructure as compared to YCCE Nagpur. There are digital classrooms and well-equipped laboratories with high-speed Wi-Fi connection and large playgrounds for outdoor games and a library which has 1000+ books and more than 100 journals.

Academics:

VIIT Pune has a more research-oriented course structure. They have a research journal called Viswakarma journal of engineering and research (VJER). Training and placement cells of both colleges are quite active and help students to get internships and placement in reputed companies and research institutes.

Courses offered:

YCCE Nagpur and VIIT Pune are offering graduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. in various engineering branches.
