Trinity College of Engineering is a private self-financed engineering institution in Kerala. The campus offers UG courses in subjects like Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Civil Engineering. Candidates who have passed 10+2 with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics are eligible for admission. Moreover, the institution renders lateral entry to the courses.
The aspirants must clear the KEAM examination. The marks obtained from KEAM will also check during the admission of the candidates.
- For Mechanical Engineering the student must pass the 10+2 from authorized exam board with50% marks in the Science stream (PCM).
- For Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Civil Engineering the candidate must pass the 10+2 from authorized exam board with 50% marks in the Science stream (PCM).
- For Electrical and Electronics Engineering the student must pass the 10+2 from authorized exam board with 50% marks in the Science stream (PCM).
- The selection of the courses is based on the entrance score.
- Candidates can also apply for management quota via the college office.
- For lateral entry, candidates who have a 3-year Diploma in Engineering awarded by the Board of Technical Examination or any recognized board approved by AICTE with a minimum 50% marks can apply.
- Relaxation of 5% marks in the entrance examination for those who belong to the Socially and Educationally backward classes.
Trinity college was established in 2011 at Trivandrum, Kerala. It is approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to the APJ Abdul Kalam Kerala Technological University. Companies like UST Global, Kingster Education, Synergy, it Markers, etc visited the college as part of the placement. Most of the skilled students were placed during these company visits.
